Black Mountain Recreational Park, located in Harlan County, Kentucky, has over 6,000 acres of mountainous terrain and over 200 miles of ATV and 4x4 trails. Each trail is rated by difficulty and marked and signed appropriately.

The park is open all day and night and all year-round and requires permits to ride (available at our trail shop). No reservations need to be made and guides are not necessary.

Trail maps are available for purchase for $5 and proceeds help to keep the park open.

Harlan County Campground & RV Park is located at the park's northern Putney Trailhead on US 119, 8 miles north of the City of Harlan and 10 miles south of the City of Cumberland.
